Sea Island Cotton Cashmere
Since 1860, Sunspel has sourced and refined some of the world’s finest materials. Among them are Sea Island cotton and cashmere, brought together here in a single knit.
Sea Island cotton is grown in small quantities in the Caribbean and is valued for its extra-long staple fibres. These create a yarn that is strong and breathable, with a smooth feel against the skin. So smooth, in fact, that Queen Victoria famously mistook it for silk.
Cashmere adds depth of touch, along with natural softness and warmth. Together, the fibres create a knit that feels light yet substantial, designed for regular wear and made to last.
